About the academy

The academy’s goal is training of the highest possible quality. Students come from many agencies, departments, and local governments, each with its own needs and experience, so instruction is built on expert teaching, hands-on practice, and real-world use.

SPAG cadets have one of the highest pass rates in Texas on the TCOLE Basic Peace Officer licensing exam.
